It has introduced gay characters, like the Canadian hottie North Star, but these homos were pretty much neutered. But no more!
Peter David's 'X-Factor' (issue 45) will include the first man-on-man kiss between lovers Rictor and Shatterstar.
And don't expect anyone to wake up and say it was all just a bad dream. "No, it’s not a fake out," David said. "A number of people seem to be concerned that Star is still under Cortex’s control. Or that Rictor is going to freak out the next panel and say, 'Dude, what the hell?' That would be cheap. I don’t do cheap. Okay, sometimes I do, but not this time.'"
